If you own a PS3 and at any time in your life decide to hook it up to a PC, i'm sure you'll know that the PS3 controller doesn't work on windows without using 3rd party software's. If the software that you are using is MotioninJoy and when you click on Driver Manager in the software, you get an error saying "ERROR: The request could not be satisfied".

You are watching: Motioninjoy the request could not be satisfied

For some reason, Motioninjoy doesn't recognize PC's that have their dates past 2014, some solutions are to change the date and try again, but that didn't work for me and neither will it work for you.

Instead, what we could do is:

Locate where you installed your MotioninJoy (You can do this by searching DS3 Tool > Right Clicking > Open File Location.

Open the "drivers" folder

You will see a setup file called MijXinput. Right click the file and hit Install.

These are steps to install the drivers manually and bypass that Driver Manager page in the software. Your pc should recognize your PS3 controller now!
